Jennifer Johnston, LMT

Jennifer Johnston, LMT

Jennifer Johnston, a Denver, CO native, has been a licensed massage therapist for 26 years. She attended Sun Coast School of Massage Therapy in Tampa, FL, where she became certified and licensed. She continued her education and certifications in Clinical Sports Massage, Advance Flexibility, Deep Tissue, Therapeutic Corrective Massage, Infant Massage Instructor, Pre- natal Massage, Medical Massage, Table Top Thai and Lymphatic Drainage Plus, Hand and Wrist Trigger Point and Medical Massage for Cancer Survivors.

As an athlete herself Jennifer could relate mentally and physically what an athlete encounters on a day to day routine. She has always wanted to help others stay injury free and achieve their goals of staying healthy.

After graduation Jennifer started her sports massage career in the National Football League for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. She later worked for many other NFL teams who sought her professional services. She soon worked with various NBA, NHL and MLB teams. She provided sports massage to both the National and American Leagues of Baseball for 20 years and still provides Sports massage to many MLB players today. Jennifer works closely with trainers to ensure the players performance, stamina and injury prevention during the season and off-season.

However, you do not have to be an elite athlete to enjoy a therapeutic massage from Jennifer. Her skills are the perfect adjunct to physical therapy, enabling a multi-pronged approach to rehab. Or if you simply have some tight muscles and need a relaxing massage to work out the knots, she is great at that as well. She will gauge the intensity of the massage on your feedback. So whether you seek a therapeutic massage, or a relaxation massage, she is well equipped for the job!

In her free time, as a true foodie, Jennifer loves trying new places to eat with friends and then doing lots of outdoor exercise to burn off the calories.
